Final doorbelling & GOTV to finish STRONG!!!
Between phone calling, doorbelling, and other Republican campaign events we’ve been working HARD to get to the finish line as the cheerleading chant, “GO FIGHT WIN!” Our #RuntoWin1 & #TeamMorell were our constant thread to stay true to our game plan. Rooting at six High School football games to encourage Bonney Lake, Emerald Ridge, Puyallup, Rogers, & Spanaway Lake were great fun with amazing support & honks whether rain or shine! Helping out #Team25 candidates Chris Gildon & Kelly Chambers as a united group to solidify a win to fill the seats of State Representatives Melanie Stambaugh & Joyce McDonald.

Friendly discussions about issues with partisan stances were the result of the forum between Dave & Lorra Jackson. Mayor Josh Penner opened the evening, and it went smoothly with kind and respectful interactions between campaigns.

Doorbelling...
We are grateful for neighbors who invite us into their areas to doorbell. It is the bread & butter of campaigning so it is nice to have a “this is a candidate I know and trust”. We have been fortunate to have good weather, and can help out other campaigns who are also in our district. We are up to about 8,500 homes that we have reached to tell them about Dave.
Sign Waves @ Sparks Stadium
Our signs waving has been with the 25th Legislative District State Republican candidates Kelly Chambers & Chris Gildon on Fridays. Super exciting to see our teams play especially the King of the Hill where Rogers beat Emerald Ridge 42-0. This was our third game with a few more weeks left…Go Football season Go!

Dave Announces Pierce County Council Candidacy
Puyallup--Today former State Representative Dave Morell announced his candidacy for Pierce County Council District One. A business owner and civic leader, Morell believes that it is time for the county to face its growing pains head on. “Many residents have come to Pierce County to escape high taxes, high crime and gridlock. They can afford a better life for their families here, but the patchwork approach to solving our challenges has not produced good results,” Morell said.
District One runs from Buckley and Lake Tapps to South Hill, and includes Mt. Rainier National Park and the thriving tourist areas on its East slope. Morell’s experience as a State Representative, Fire Commissioner, County Parks and Recreation Board Chair, and Board Member of the Puyallup Sumner Chamber of Commerce has prepared him to deal with issues critical to Pierce County’s future success.
Morell envisions himself as an active member of a council that prioritizes expenditures. He will focus on using existing tax revenue effectively and focusing resources on roads and public safety for a fast growing County. He will support changes to create new job opportunities so residents need not travel out of the area to find work.
Morell owns and has operated for 35-years a Commercial Concrete repair company (an NFIB Small Business of the Year). He also has an outdoor event venue co-owned and managed by his daughter (a Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year). He has four grown sons and daughters, and four grandchildren, with one just born at the end of April. Morell is an avid runner, cyclist, & swimmer, competing in endurance events and is both a nationally and internationally ranked competitor.
